Thanks to this, a technically viable alternative to conventional etching will be generated through the use of ozone as an oxidant. The use of polluting reagents that will be withdrawn from the market shortly by applicable environmental legislation is dispensed with.

The METNET project, Industrial Research into new etching solutions without the generation of hazardous waste, led by the company SATIS COATING, with the participation of AQUASOLVENT, AIDIMME, UPV and AIJU.

[boc_heading alignment=”center”]RECYCLING SYSTEM FOR WASTEWATER FROM THE VARADEROS OF THE YACHT CLUBS[/boc_heading]

AQUASOLVENT S.L. has developed a recycling system for wastewater from boat washing in the dry docks of yacht clubs and marinas.

The project has been funded by the European Union within the framework of the GREENinMED program.

The system developed allows the recirculation of discharge water, which can be reused for washing boats or even for fire-fighting systems. The equipment allows a series of advantages not comparable to any existing equipment on the market, highlighting:

  1. Be effective for the treatment of residual water from dry docks, reaching water purity limits that allow its reuse in the dry dock itself.
  2. Being modular, so that it can be adapted to the different sizes of the dry docks of the existing yacht clubs throughout the Mediterranean.
  3. Be financially affordable.
  4. Easy transport and assembly: it can be pre-assembled and sent to any dry dock in the Mediterranean without the need for AQUASOLVENT technical personnel to travel.
  5. Easy maintenance and operation: the system can be operated by the sailors of the yacht club.
  6. Minimum use of reagents.
  7. Online control: the system can be controlled and operated online from the AQUASOLVENT facilities and can be monitored by the yacht club at all times.

The project for the development of a treatment and recycling system for wastewater from yacht club dry docks has been prepared with the financial aid of the European Union within the framework of the ENI CBC Mediterranean Sea Basin Program.
